Job summary

Mercy Union OP Location is seeking a Physical Therapist to join a collaborative team dedicated to adult and geriatric care. You will conduct objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans under the supervision of Therapy Leadership, with direct supervision of patients and supervision of rehab staff in accordance with State Practice Acts.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before care for patients independently.
• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs; standing and walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Work in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
• Collaborate with Therapy Leadership and care teams to ensure quality patient care.
