Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. The role includes direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation staff, aligning with Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before care for patients independently.
• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Supervise patients directly and rehabilitation technicians indirectly; supervise PT assistants as per State Practice Acts.
• Adhere to Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards in daily duties.
