Job summary

Mercy Union OP Location is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and rehab staff, including PT assistants, and work under Therapy Leadership to ensure adherence to Mercy standards.

Qualified candidates hold a PT degree (DPT preferred) and a current PT license; BLS certification is required before independent patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification; required before independent patient care.
• Six months to one year experience in rehabilitation preferred for PTs.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing/walking.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants per State Practice Acts.
• Maintain alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
