Job summary

Mercy Union OP Location is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership. Full-time, 40 hours/week with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Physical Requirements: Push/pull/lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; ability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of PT assistants as per State Practice Acts.

PT degree (DPT/MS) or equivalent
