Blue Stone Therapy in Mitchell, SD is hiring a Physical Therapist to join a brand-new outpatient program opening Oct 2026. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, and deliver evidence-based PT to improve mobility and function, working with a collaborative team in a supportive environment.

The role emphasizes patient education, independent initiative, and dedication to building a growing outpatient practice with clinical autonomy under leadership support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current South Dakota Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
• Strong orthopedic/functional assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on findings and goals.
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy to improve mobility, strength, balance, pain, and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per regulatory and organizational standards.
• Contribute to growth of a new outpatient program through teamwork and patient-centered service.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy to improve mobility, strength, balance, pain, and functional performance
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Physical Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in South Dakota
