Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy in Mitchell, SD is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our brand-new outpatient clinic opening October 2026. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized OT plans, and support ADLs, cognition, and mobility in a collaborative setting.

We offer clinical autonomy with leadership support, flexible part-time schedules, and opportunities for professional growth. Candidates must be licensed in SD or eligible and have an accredited OT program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Help patients improve independence with ADLs, upper extremity function, cognition, coordination, and functional mobility.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to support safe, independent living.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation.
• Support the development of a patient-focused outpatient therapy program.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
