Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy in Mitchell, SD, is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help launch a brand-new outpatient therapy program opening October 2026. You will work in a supportive, collaborative environment and deliver patient-centered care as part of a growing team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current South Dakota OTA license or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving independence with daily living skills and functional activities.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients on exercises, adaptive equipment, and home programs.
• Complete accurate documentation.
• Support a positive patient experience while helping grow a new outpatient program.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
