Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Inpatient Physical Therapy department at St. Agnes Ascension in Baltimore, MD. This day-shift, full-time role evaluates and treats patients, conducts assessments, and develops plans of care in collaboration with patients and families.

Candidates must have a Maryland PT license, BLS, bachelor's degree (master's or doctorate preferred); MD Driver's license preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits, tuition assistance, PTO, and career growth.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date required.
• PT credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners prior to hire date required.
• Driver's License from Maryland DMV preferred.

• Perform initial and ongoing assessment of patient's condition.
• Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care involving the patient/family.
• Perform therapy interventions using standard PT techniques.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment program.

• Perform initial and ongoing assessment of patient's condition.

• Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problem identified and involve the patient/family.

• Perform therapy intervention utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.

• Oversee activities of physical therapy assistant, student and other support personnel.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• Drivers License credentialed from the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
