Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Services team. You will scrub and circulate, assist with hemostasis and positioning, and help prepare and sterilize rooms and instruments.

Requirements include Maryland RN licensure, ACLS within 6 months, BLS within 30 days, and an accredited nursing diploma or current licensure. Hospital OR experience is preferred. Sign-on bonus available.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Execute scrub functions, including selection and sterile handling of instrumentation and supplies.
• Execute circulator functions, including monitoring, documentation, and real-time communication.
• Partner with surgeons to facilitate hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and optimal patient positioning.
• Oversee the preparation and sterilizations of rooms, surgical instruments, and high-tech equipment.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following required:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
