Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking a Physical Security Systems Engineer 2 to design, deploy, and maintain advanced security systems for federal, local and commercial customers. The role encompasses system design, on-site implementation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

You will work on Access Control, Video Management, and Perimeter Detection, with travel up to 25% and opportunities to grow expertise across vendor products and security technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with Systems Engineering and Systems Administration.
• Hands-on experience designing, solutioning and deploying Physical Security Systems.
• Ability to work at customer sites and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop physical security solutions including ACS, VMS, IDS.
• Create engineering drawings (CAD/REVIT or similar).
• Assist with on-site deployments and commissioning.
• Develop playbooks and deployment guides; ensure data quality and migrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
