Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Security Systems Engineer 2 to design, install, and maintain enterprise security and IT systems across federal, local, and commercial environments.

You will collaborate with design, install, and O&M teams to ensure secure, high-availability operations. Ideal candidates have experience with access control, video management, and cyber security controls, plus strong communication skills for executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience; Master’s degree preferred or 0+ years with relevant advanced credentials.
• Experience with enterprise security platforms, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise physical security and IT systems.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain security systems with Design/Install and O&M teams.
• Lead tasks independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
• Document designs, changes, and procedures including test and transition plans.
• Perform security updates and evaluate new technologies with OEMs.
