Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks a Security Systems Engineer 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in Charleston, SC.

You will design, install, test, and sustain enterprise-level physical security and IT systems, collaborating with Design/Install and O&M teams to meet security standards. You will diagnose complex issues, implement system improvements, and document infrastructure designs and change controls, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver

Qualifications

• Education in engineering/IT with security focus or related field.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining secure IT and physical security systems.
• Ability to communicate with executive leadership and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, test, and sustain enterprise security and IT systems.
• Lead tasks with Design/Install and O&M teams to ensure security compliance.
• Document designs, changes, and runbooks for environments and deployments.
• Perform security updates and evaluate emerging technologies.
