Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Physical Security Systems Engineer 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, and video surveillance for federal, local, and commercial clients. The role involves hands-on field experience, lab testing, and developing deployment playbooks, with opportunities to grow into SME on security engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Systems Engineering and Systems Administration.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying Physical Security Systems.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain physical security services (ACS, VMS, IDS).
• Perform PITCO testing in lab/pre-deployment settings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy security solutions on site or in cloud.
• Develop deployment guides, playbooks and training materials for stakeholders.
