Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Security Systems Engineer 2 to design, engineer, integrate, operate, and maintain electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers.

You will work across intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, IT systems, and perimeter defense in high-growth markets. Responsibilities include evaluating technologies, translating customer needs into system designs, and developing deployment plans with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical or related field; or Master’s degree.
• Two+ years of experience for Bachelor's degree holders; zero mandatory years for Master’s degree holders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technologies to improve physical security posture for customers.
• Translate customer needs into scalable system designs and adoption plans.
• Provide technical support for deployed security systems and develop deployment procedures.
• Create high-quality documentation for system standards and operations.
