Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) seeks a PHMS Engineering Supervisor to lead the PHMS team at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. You will oversee mechanical integrity assessments for pressure vessels and piping, applying ASME/API codes to in-service inspections and reporting.

This role requires strong leadership, engineering forensic interest, and effective communication with senior engineers. U.S. citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or civil/structural engineering from an accredited college/university.
• 15+ years of mechanical or structural engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff to safely perform field work and engineering assessments.
• Manage daily operations and oversee PHMS personnel including project assignments.
• Identify and advocate manpower and resources to meet objectives.
• Recommend and implement new policies and procedures for PHMS.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and present updates to leadership.
• Supervise inspection of pressure vessels and piping systems; verify data and integrity.
