Job summary

Beyond New Horizons seeks an Experienced Piping Engineer to join the PHMS team at Arnold AFB, TN. The role focuses on certifying and maintaining mechanical integrity of piping systems, pressure vessels, and related infrastructure used in ground testing of air and space systems, applying ASME/API codes.

The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years post-degree experience in piping design, code compliance, and integrity assessments, with strong communication skills and the ability to guide junior

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering plus a minimum of 8 years of post-degree engineering experience with process piping systems, code compliance, and piping/mechanical integrity assessments.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pressure vessels and piping systems; verify data; report on equipment integrity and provide recommendations.
• Perform ASME/API code calculations, pressure rating evaluations, and stress analyses for piping systems.
• Provide guidance on code compliance for pressurized systems across multiple facilities.
