Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks an Early to Mid-Career Piping Engineer for the PHMS team at Arnold AFB, TN. You will analyze piping systems, perform code calculations, inspections, and provide engineering support to ensure mechanical integrity of pressure vessels and piping in ground testing of air and space systems.

Responsibilities include field inspections, NDT data review, and creating technical reports. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical engineering and 2+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience with process piping systems, piping/mechanical integrity assessments, or piping codes such as ASME B31.3.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pressure vessels and piping systems during field visits and report findings.
• Perform ASME/B31.3 calculations, stress analysis, and fitness-for-service assessments under supervision.
• Provide(code) compliance consultation for pressurized systems with oversight.
• Develop drawings, as-built documentation, and field-checked drawings for piping systems.
