Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) is seeking an Experienced Piping Engineer to join the Pressure and Hazardous Material Systems (PHMS) team at Arnold Engineering Development Complex, Arnold AFB, TN. This role focuses on certifying and maintaining mechanical integrity of piping systems and pressure vessels used in ground testing of air and space systems.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years post-degree experience in piping systems, pressure vessels and related infrastructure.
• US Citizenship is required and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Air Force security requirements require U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pressure vessels and piping systems through field visits and report findings.
• Perform ASME/API code calculations and stress analyses to verify compliance.
• Provide guidance on code compliance for pressurized systems across AEDC facilities.
• Develop and check drawings and as-built documentation for piping systems.
