Job summary

The American Red Cross in Montgomery County, PA is hiring a phlebotomy‑trained individual to support the blood collection process at donation sites. You will engage donors, transport and set up equipment, and ensure a welcoming environment while following safety procedures.

Starting pay is $20.18 per hour with paid training and opportunities to grow within the organization. A high school diploma and customer service skills are required, along with a valid driver's license and ability to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights and adapt to long, irregular hours.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take the time to personally connect with donors – listen to their stories and help them understand how impactful their donation is.
• Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming environment so donors feel comfortable returning.
• Be detailed oriented to ensure blood collection meets goals and regulatory requirements.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup and teardown at donation sites.
