Job summary

The American Red Cross is hiring for a phlebotomy support role in Montgomery County, PA. You will assist with blood collection, transport equipment, and create a welcoming donor environment while following safety procedures. Paid phlebotomy training is provided, with no prior medical experience required.

Salary starts at $20.18/hour with a varied schedule, including weekends and some overtime. A high school diploma, customer service skills, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include lifting and long hours; may require 60-inch height for vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Take time to personally connect with donors and explain the impact of donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Be detail oriented to ensure collected blood meets goals and safety standards.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup/teardown at donation sites.
