Job summary

The American Red Cross is hiring for a phlebotomy-focused role in Montgomery County, PA. Paid training is provided, and no prior medical experience is required. You will support blood collection operations, assist donors, and help maintain safety protocols across collection sites.

Starting pay is $20.18 per hour with a benefits package; schedule may include evenings, weekends, and travel as needed to support mobile drives. A driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights and long hours.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take time to connect with donors and explain the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Be detail-oriented to ensure collected blood meets goals and regulatory requirements.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setting up and tearing down equipment; minimum height of 60 inches may be required.
