Job summary

The American Red Cross in West Chester, PA is seeking a phlebotomist to assist with the blood collection process at fixed site locations. Training is provided to develop phlebotomy and healthcare skills within a mission-driven organization.

You will support donor care, work with a team, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance during blood collection, with a variable schedule and starting pay of $22.89 per hour.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent education/work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service in a public setting.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull heavy items and long hours; good manual dexterity.
• Basic computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Connect with donors; listen to their stories and explain donation impact.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Be detail oriented to ensure collected blood meets goals and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to safety procedures; support variable 4x10 hour schedule at West Chester, PA.
