Job summary

The American Red Cross in Montgomery County, PA is seeking compassionate individuals to join our phlebotomy support team. You will help donors feel welcome, assist with the blood collection process, and contribute to a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements include lifting, pushing/pulling heavy weights, long hours and variable schedules.

Responsibilities

• Connect with donors personally to share the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Ensure the blood collected meets goals and regulatory requirements for safe transfusion.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setting up and tearing down equipment at donation sites.
