Job summary

The American Red Cross in Montgomery County, PA seeks a lead phlebotomist/team lead to coach blood collection staff at mobile drives. You will perform phlebotomy, supervise operations, and ensure safety and quality while engaging with donors and the community.

The role requires leadership, phlebotomy experience, and strong customer service. A valid license plus ability to travel with the team is expected; medical benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience (18 months to four years of work experience) is required.
Minimum 1 year leadership experience in environments with public interaction required.
Phlebotomy experience is required.
Customer service experience, effective verbal communication and public relations skills are required.
A current valid driver's license and a good driving record is required.
Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights and long hours.

Responsibilities

Lead the team and drive for results through excellent customer service.
Model professionalism and compassion while serving as an ambassador to the public for the nation’s largest not-for-profit blood banking organization.
Work as a lead/charge at mobile blood drives and conduct phlebotomy.
