Mercyhealth is seeking a professional phlebotomist to collect and process blood specimens. You will register patients, handle specimens with accurate labeling, and participate in laboratory operations, with emphasis on safety and patient care.

This full-time position requires phlebotomy proficiency; certification is preferred, and the team operates with a rotating weekend schedule and daily shifts. Mercyhealth values quality care and teamwork across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of a phlebotomy course or prior phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience as Paramedic, EMT, CNA or MA helpful.

Responsabilités

• Phlebotomy on patients and specimen collection.
• Register patients in HIS/LIS and release orders as needed.
• Label specimens and ensure specimen integrity and patient identification.
