Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a phlebotomy course or prior phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience as a Paramedic, EMT, CNA or MA helpful.

Responsibilities

• Proficient with HIS and LIS to release orders and register patients.
• Register patients, collect payments, and enter demographic and insurance information.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens accurately.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and ensure proper labeling.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control practices at all times.
• Assist with inventory and maintenance of supplies.
