Advocate Health Care is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist for Carolinas Medical Center - Lab in Charlotte, NC. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly, with a Mon-Fri 7am-5pm schedule and a pay range of $19.80-$29.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Phlebotomy certification preferred for duties where phlebotomy is assigned.
• Certification in phlebotomy preferred (where applicable).
• Experience in phlebotomy or laboratory support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process patient blood via venipuncture or capillary puncture accurately.
• Process nonblood specimens in a timely manner.
• Assist with specimen preparation, receipt, and transport.
• Perform patient registration and provide courteous phone support.
• Maintain LIS/LIS familiarity and ensure proper documentation.
