Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect and process patient blood specimens by venipuncture or capillary puncture.
• Handle nonblood specimens accurately and timely.
• Assist with patient registration and specimen documentation.
• Maintain clean and stocked work area; manage supplies.
• Operate and maintain equipment; report malfunctions.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and use PPE as required.
• Train new staff and students on standard procedures.
