Labcorp in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. In this role you will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, ensure specimen integrity and provide friendly, accurate service to patients and clients.

You will work Monday through Friday 8:30am–1:30pm with rotating weekends, and you may have opportunities for growth within Labcorp. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training is required, with priority given to those with 6+

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months+ experience.
• Preferred: 6 months+ of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment and pass color blindness test.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
