Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time phlebotomy/ lab technician to join the evening weekend team. The role collects blood samples, processes specimens, and performs routine tests while maintaining accurate documentation and patient interactions.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification is preferred, and familiarity with hospital information systems and safety protocols. Shift nights on weekends with potential for growth.

• Ability to perform venipuncture and handle specimens.

• Experience with patient registration and phone support.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and process patient blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Prepare and transport specimens and maintain labeling.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and document results.
• Register patients and provide phone support to care areas.
• Train new staff and students on lab procedures.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and clean work space.
