Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and be the face of the company while opportunities for growth are available.

Typical schedule is variable, Monday through Friday 6:30am-3:30pm with rotating Saturdays, and responsibilities include blood collection, data entry, and patient support across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned
