Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Mountain View, CA team. You will perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary methods across age groups, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.

In this role you will collect specimens for drug screens and other tests, enter data, process billing, and travel to additional sites as needed. Strong communication and customer service are essential to delivering exceptional care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid California Phlebotomy license required.
• 1+ month phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely; process billing information when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
