Job summary

Natera is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to serve patients and manage the PSC phlebotomy program at our San Francisco location. The role includes blood collection, quality control, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will help oversee phlebotomy operations, train staff, and drive improvements to support patient volume growth while maintaining high standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• 5+ years of high-level customer care experience; managing/supervising phlebotomy operations and teams preferred.
• BS/BA degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred where regulations allow.

Responsibilities

• Verify test requisitions and correct discrepancies.
• Identify patient correctly and obtain blood specimens by venipuncture or finger sticks.
• Maintain specimen integrity via aseptic technique and proper procedures.
• Track specimens and maintain daily tallies in Natera system.
• Record results and monitor quality-control logs; report KPI trends biweekly.
• Ensure a safe and compliant work environment following regulations.
• Assist with phlebotomy program management and vendor relationships.
• Manage scheduling, communication, and escalation handling for PSC operations.
