Job summary

Natera is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist in Columbia, Maryland, responsible for overseeing phlebotomy operations at the patient service center. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of phlebotomy experience and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include verifying test requisitions, obtaining blood specimens, and maintaining specimen integrity.

The Phlebotomist will also manage scheduling, assist with vendor coordination, and uphold Natera's standards during patient interactions. A high school diploma is required, and BS/BA is preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience
• 5+ years high-level customer care experience preferred
• Previous financial and budgetary experience preferred
• Bilingual language skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Verifies test requisitions and patient identification
• Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures
• Maintains specimen integrity using aseptic technique
• Tracks collected specimens and maintains quality results
• Resolves unusual test orders with appropriate contacts
• Completes required training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy

Education
