Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor in Brick, NJ, to lead daily phlebotomy operations across multiple facilities and sites. The role requires supervising staff, implementing SOPs, maintaining QA/QC standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance while driving quality and patient service.

You will manage hiring, training, and scheduling, participate in budget and cost-control efforts, and support the team with coaching and development to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years supervisory or demonstrated leadership experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in phlebotomy, laboratory or healthcare environments.
• Languages: English (Required).
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all assigned facilities, PSCs, mobile and in‑office phlebotomy.
• Implement SOPs for phlebotomy services per Quest Diagnostics guidelines.
• Ensure licensure, QA/QC documentation, and safety standards are met.
• Supervise staff, conduct performance appraisals, and provide coaching.
• Coordinate hiring, training, and scheduling to maintain adequate coverage.
• Participate in budget planning and cost containment initiatives.
