Job summary

Virtua Medical Group in Mount Holly, NJ seeks a Supervisory Phlebotomist for the day shift to lead the Laboratory Collecting and Receiving department. You will ensure specimen integrity, support scheduling and workflow, and provide outstanding customer service.

Requirements include two years as a phlebotomist, 1-3 years of supervisory experience, excellent oral communication, and a high school diploma or equivalent. An associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of two years’ experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1-3 years of lead/supervisory experience required.
• Outstanding oral communication skills and customer service.
• Associates degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Laboratory Collecting and Receiving department.
• Assist manager with staffing, scheduling, training, and evaluation of new products.
• Oversee workflow and identify opportunities for improvement in the workstation or department.
• Provide outstanding customer service and effective communication with staff and patients.
• Serve as liaison between staff and manager and act as a resource for other departments.
