Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Phlebotomy training preferred
• ASCP certification preferred
• Fluent English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Specimen Collection from all age groups using venipuncture techniques.
• Specimen Receiving and Distribution: labeling and prioritizing samples; transport per protocol.
• Work Area Organization: maintain clean, stocked drawing station and organize orders.
• Specimen Registration: register courier-delivered specimens and troubleshoot printers.
• Computer and Test Ordering Support: use hospital information systems; order tests accurately.
