Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist for the Northside location. The role involves phlebotomy, sample handling, and patient care with a Monday-Friday 0800-1700 schedule, including holidays and weekends as needed.

A paid apprenticeship option may be available for candidates without experience. Regular attendance is essential, with opportunities to advance through modality-based levels.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• PBT ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of a relevant Clinical Lab Assistant program recommended.
• Immunization against Hepatitis B required or waiver option available.
• Valid driver's license and insurability by lab insurance.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy duties accurately and professionally.
• Maintains supplies and inventory for departmental functions.
• On-call responsibilities may apply per location.
• Documents critical communications and ensures confidentiality.
• Supports multiple modalities and maintains patient care standards.
