The Elliot Health System is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant – Phlebotomist in Client Services. This role blends administrative duties with phlebotomy, supporting patient and provider communications and ensuring timely specimen flow through the lab.

You will verify requisitions, prepare specimens, perform venipuncture, and document results in EPIC, while maintaining accuracy and courtesy in a fast-paced hospital setting. The position offers full-time hours and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy course or experience preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain follow-up work lists and resolve issues in client services.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collection following proper technique.
• Verify patient identity and labels, and document collections in EPIC.
• Enter orders and notify results as appropriate.
