Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH seeks a Clinical Lab Assistant – Phlebotomist in Client Services. The role blends administrative duties with phlebotomy tasks to ensure smooth specimen flow and accurate patient data handling.

The ideal candidate will perform venipuncture accurately, verify patient information, and enter orders into EPIC while delivering responsive service to clinicians and patients alike.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy course or phlebotomy experience preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC or similar LIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patients, physicians, and clients in Client Services.
• Perform routine and advanced venipuncture and capillary collections with proper technique.
• Verify patient demographics and accurately label specimens.
• Enter orders into EPIC and document collections.
• Handle inbound calls and relay test results and requirements to clients.
• Assist with non-technical lab tasks to maintain workflow and sample integrity.
• Maintain holiday/weekend rotating schedule as required.
