TriCore Reference Laboratories in Las Vegas, NM is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist for an hourly, full-time role. Schedule: Monday–Friday 07:00–16:00 with holidays and other shifts as needed. The position requires basic phlebotomy skills and strong emphasis on accurate patient care and confidentiality.

The role may include on-call duties, clerical tasks, and interaction with patients and staff. A HS diploma is required; PBT/ASCP certification and related training are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a Clinical Lab Assistant or similar program preferred.

Aufgaben

• Performs duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains supplies and inventory for department operations.
• Observe students and/or new staff as needed.
• Exhibits problem solving for patient and client care levels.
• On-call responsibilities may be assigned by location.
• Demonstrates effective telephone and verbal communication skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of information and data.
• Supports coverage for holidays, evenings, and weekends as required.
• Performs basic clerical tasks and documentation as needed.
