Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories in Santa Fe is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant Phlebotomist who can work with minimal supervision across multiple modalities. Compensation varies with modalities performed; apprenticeship possible for entry candidates. Regular in-person attendance during scheduled hours is essential.

The role requires HS diploma, ASCP/PBT certification preferred, immunization compliance, and the ability to work a schedule that includes weekends and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• PBT ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Completion of a relevant Clinical Lab Assistant or comparable program.
• Immunization and background requirements per location.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain supplies and inventory for department.
• Support on-call responsibilities during scheduled hours.
• Provide accurate documentation and clerical support as needed.
• Assist with specimen handling and processing tasks.
• Support patient and client communication with professionalism.
