Job summary

LabCorp in Prince Frederick, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.

You will collect specimens for drug screens and other tests, enter patient data accurately, and support billing. The position offers a Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm schedule and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
