Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist in Owings Mills, MD to join our team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, handle specimens for drug screens and tests, and enter patient data accurately while delivering exceptional service to patients and clients.

The role may involve providing friendly, professional service in a patient service center or client office, with opportunities for growth within Labcorp. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–12:00pm with every other Saturday for 4 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
