Labcorp in Maysville, KY is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in a client office. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and be the face of the company while contributing to growth opportunities within the organization.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, processing specimens, data entry, and handling billing tasks. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy experience; certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environment (preferred).
• 2 years of more of pediatric phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (or completed training).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
