Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Pineville, Kentucky team. This role performs blood collections, processes specimens, and maintains accurate patient data while delivering excellent patient service. The position requires the ability to travel to additional sites and work with a variety of age groups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
