Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Paducah, Kentucky. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. You will perform blood draws, collect specimens, enter patient data, and assist with billing as needed. Travel to additional sites may be required.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate data entry, and adherence to accreditation standards. A phlebotomy background and a willingness to work in a client office are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required by accrediting body.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and other tests.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and clients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
