Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Maysville, Kentucky. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, process specimens, and provide friendly patient service.

This full-time role schedules Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with opportunities for overtime. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; certification is preferred or from an accredited program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
