Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Georgetown, Kentucky. The role involves blood collection, patient service, data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed.

You will work Monday through Friday with standard daytime hours and contribute to accurate processing and billing workflows. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of phlebotomy experience; certification or accredited training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
