Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Part Time to join our team in Hartford, Kentucky. The role involves drawing blood, processing specimens, and delivering exceptional patient service in a clinical setting.

Schedule includes Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm with potential travel to additional sites. A high school diploma or GED and 1 year of phlebotomy experience are required; a phlebotomy certification or accredited training is preferred. PST Incentive Plan may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency is required in lieu of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
